Brodick

Brodick is the largest of the islands villages and offers excellent local facilities including a supermarket, bank, post office, cafes, shops, restaurants and bars. It also offers good local leisure facilities for both adults and children including golf, tennis, swimming, horse riding, cycling as well as mini and crazy golf. Arran Adventure Centre is based in Brodick for those looking for a more exhilarating experience.

Isle of Arran

The Isle of is the most southerly Scottish island and sits in the Firth of Clyde between Ayrshire and Kintyre. Arran is 19 miles long by 10 miles wide but has a remarkable diversity of landscapes and seascapes.

The pretty villages on Arran's beautiful coastline are complemented by a rugged and mountainous interior in the north and green rolling hills and woodland in the south.

Often referred to as 'Scotland in Minature' Arran captures many aspects of the beauty of Scotland as a whole from towering granite peaks to peaceful sandy bays. The wildlife is outstanding with deer, pheasant, otter and eagle often seen in the mountains and colonies of seals near coastal caves.

Whether you're looking to get away from it all, have an action-packed break, visit friends and family or just uncover the hidden delights, Arran really does have something for everyone.
